What is a one-way interview?
A one-way interview lets candidates record themselves answering a set of questions defined by you. After each completed interview, we will share the full recordings with you.
What types of jobs are one-way interviews most helpful for?
Any type of role that historically generates a high volume of applicants and is US based. One-way interviews are also a valuable tool for companies who need extra help with candidate interviews.
How many jobs can I use one-way interviews for?
Currently there is no limit to the number of openings you can use one-way interviews for.
Are one-way interviews free?
Yes! Currently, it’s free for employers to set up one-way interviews.
What is the one-way interview process like for candidates?
You can manually invite candidates to perform a one-way interview using a unique link or we can automatically invite candidates for you. Candidates accept the invitation to record their one-way interview and have the option to record on the spot or set a reminder to complete it at a more convenient time (up to seven days). They can record their responses to your questions using our platform when they’re ready. Once they submit their videos, the recordings will be available on your employer dashboard.
Who posts the job advertisement?
You will maintain ownership of the job advertisement. Indeed will take over candidate outreach, interview scheduling, and reminders for the one-way interview experience.
What questions are candidates asked?
Candidates will be asked custom questions that you provide when you set up the one-way interview. There is currently no limit to how many questions you can ask, but asking too many questions may discourage candidates from completing the one-way interview.
